Is non monogamy the same as polyamory?

Non-monogamy can be any kind of sex-related connection beyond an additional connection you may remain in. Love does not have to be involved, it can be totally physical. Polyamory suggests several loves, basically. It can be a sexual relationship or a non-sexual yet emotionally romantic one, and it still counts as polyamory.
