It’s expected to arrive in Webster in 2021
Fresh off the news that Burger Joint founders Mathew Pak and Shawn Bermudez plan to open a taco restaurant in The Heights comes a new update: The Burger Joint is expanding again with its first restaurant outside of the Loop.
Construction has already begun on The Burger Joint’s latest location, in Webster just outside of Baybrook Mall. It will be the largest Burger Joint so far, with a 4000 square foot interior and a massive 5800-square-foot outdoor patio wrapping around three sides of the building, according to a press release. The restaurant will also have unlimited parking and a full bar. Pak said the location, at 1350 W. Bay Area Boulevard, was chosen because much of his family lives in the suburb.
The Burger Joint was originally founded in The Montrose in 2015 and has since become one of Houston most essential spots for juicy, comforting burgers. The spot is also beloved for its boozy milkshakes. A second location opened in the Heights earlier this year, and last month the founders announced they were opening a drive-thru taqueria, The Taco Stand, just a skip away from the Burger Joint’s Heights address.
The Burger Joint in Webster is expected to open in Winter 2021.
